Since Grand Theft Auto 5, there have been hundreds, perhaps thousands, of leaks about GTA 6, which was confirmed by Rockstar Games in recent months. As excitement grows by the day, players are gaining access to more details through new leaks. According to the latest report, the potential map of GTA 6 has been leaked. The map is expected to feature 3 islands and 2000 enterable buildings. Here are the details…
GTA 6 map to be 50% larger than GTA 5
With the confirmation that GTA 6 will be announced next year, fans of the series are starting to have higher expectations. While Rockstar has only released one trailer so far, leaks have provided information about the game’s story, gameplay, and graphics.
Now, details have emerged about the game’s map. According to information shared as a fan concept map by the GTA 6 Countdown account, GTA 6 will feature three islands: Cuba, the Bahamas, and one inspired by an unknown location. These islands will be separate from the game’s main map, Leonida. Previous claims suggested the new map would be twice the size of GTA 5, but according to new reports, it may be up to 50% larger.
One of the notable claims concerns the much-desired enterable buildings by players. According to the new leak, 60% of the buildings on the map will be enterable, which means approximately 2000 buildings will be accessible, allowing players to enter and explore homes and buildings in the city. Additionally, AI-powered NPCs may call the police if they catch you inside their homes.
Confirmed to be released in the fall of 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, GTA 6 will follow its tradition of launching first on consoles and later on PC. While there is no specific release date for PC yet, it is expected to have its main impact on the PC platform.
